Here at New Cross RFC we strive to play attractive rugby based on a good application of the skills basics combined with a high level of fitness that allows for a fast and flowing game where effective support play is key; this emphasis on the kind of rugby we play is as important to us as the result!

While the emphasis is always on enjoyment first and foremost, we believe that being competitive and keeping high standards enhances this enjoyment and we are always looking to attract players who fully embrace training, playing and social aspects of rugby.

Additionally, an essential part of the character of our club is to introduce, encourage and develop new players to the game. Whatever your age and experience, young or old, in your prime or of an age where you are looking for a less competitive and more social game of rugby, you will be made to feel welcome at New Cross RFC and be given the opportunity to play the standard of rugby that you want.

Insurance
The Rugby Football Union requires each club to take out its compulsory insurance which covers playing members for death and permanent disability only.
